SUMMARY:Vision Boarding - 7 Tips to Manifesting Your Dreams
DESCRIPTION:What if your next vision board wasn’t about fixing your life\, but about tuning into what actually excites you? \nVision Boarding is a powerful visualization tool that helps individuals articulate their goals through imagery and words. It serves to clarify intentions and keep aspirations at the forefront of one’s mind. By regularly viewing their board\, participants can reinforce what they want out of life and stay motivated.  In a supportive group setting\, you’ll be invited to reflect\, share ideas\, and explore new possibilities through imagery\, conversation\, visualization meditation and guided activities. Rather than simply assembling images\, this experience helps you connect with what truly matters and translate that into a visual expression.  Each participant creates a personal vision board to take home—a meaningful keepsake that can be revisited as a source of clarity\, motivation\, and inspiration.  You’ll leave with new ideas\, new insights\, maybe some new friends\, and a tangible tool you can return to again and again. \nNo artistic experience is necessary.  Participants should bring something to write with\, a poster board\, colored markers\, scissors\, and a glue stick.  Magazines for gathering imagery will be provided. \nRegistration Opens February-March 2026 \nVisit: Marlboro Adult Ed \nor SCAN Code

SUMMARY:Legacy. My Life. My Story
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is an invitation to write the stories that matter — moments from your life\, memories you love\, and experiences you want to share with family and loved ones. \nThrough simple\, guided writing exercises\, we’ll explore personal stories in a relaxed\, supportive setting. You don’t need writing experience. You don’t need to share unless you want to. You just need curiosity and a willingness to try. \nLegacy is about connection as much as creativity. Participants enjoy writing alongside peers\, sharing stories\, laughing together\, and forming new friendships. Many people leave with short pieces they’re excited to give to family as a keepsake. \nThis is not a memoir-writing class. It’s about capturing meaningful moments\, enjoying the process\, and spending a creative afternoon together. \nCome as you are. Write\, connect\, and see what shows up.  No experience necessary.  All are welcome. \n“Harrie is a wonderful teacher\, makes writing fun and easy to do\, I didn’t know I could write!” – Julie B.\, Marlboro\, NY \nRegister Here:  Sarah Hull Hallock Library – Legacy \nor SCAN QR Code

SUMMARY:Newburgh Writers Hub
DESCRIPTION:The Writers Hub is a monthly\, in-person gathering for people who like to write — no experience required.  You don’t have to share\, be “good\,” or know what you’re doing. You just have to show up.  Most people walk in a little unsure and leave feeling relieved\, lighter\, and glad they came. \nWe gather to put words on the page together. Sometimes we write quietly. Sometimes we talk a bit. Sharing is always optional. There’s no pressure to be “good” or polished — the goal is simply to write and see what happens. \nAlong the way\, you’ll explore prompts\, memory\, observation\, and imagination. You’ll begin to notice your own voice\, get unstuck\, and build confidence just by showing up and writing regularly. \nThe Writers Hub is about momentum\, curiosity\, and community — not perfection. \n“You walk into her workshop\, and you know it’s going to be okay.” — Rachel T. \n  \nRegister here:   Newburgh Writer’s Hub @ the Town Branch – LibCal – Newburgh Free Library
