Teaching the creative arts through acting, writing and performance

Acting, writing, and performance —
helping people do the creative things
they’ve been afraid to try

Harrie creates a space where people feel brave enough to try. – Julia B.

Workshops

Workshops are the heart of my work.

I teach acting, writing, and performance workshops for people who want to be more creative but don’t always feel confident stepping into it. These workshops are practical, supportive, and rooted in doing — not theory.

People come in curious, sometimes nervous, and leave surprised by what they’re capable of.

Make a Scene Productions

Make a Scene Productions celebrates original work, supports emerging performers, and also offers a supportive space for people who want to take the next step — experiencing what it’s like to be part of a staged production.

Discover what happens when creativity moves from the classroom to the stage.

Harrie Writes

Writing is another way I explore creativity.

I write plays, short stories, and monologues — drawn from observation, imagination, and a lifelong relationship with theater and storytelling.

My background in theater shapes how I write: I care about voice, rhythm, character, and what’s happening beneath the words.

Writing isn’t something I do to fit a category or meet a goal. It’s part of who I am, and it lives alongside my work as a teacher and performer.

Coaching

For some people, one-on-one support is helpful too.

I offer coaching for individuals who want focused attention around creativity, performance, or life transitions.

Coaching is quieter and more personal — and it usually comes after people have spent time in workshops or performances.

What’s Next

Longer-form gatherings and retreats — spaces where creativity, reflection, and community come together in deeper, more expansive ways. Coming soon.
