Harrie’s legacy writing session was truly inspiring. She created a welcoming space filled with encouragement, confidence, and shared learning. I appreciated how she guided each of us to find our voices and tell our stories with pride. It was a wonderful reminder that our experiences matter and deserve to be shared.

Harrie Mulé is an excellent teacher. She is knowledgeable and passionate about her work. Her class is engaging, fun and practical. Harrie encourages two-way communication, gives feedback and allows students to reflect and make adjustments to the writing material while the information is fresh in our minds. Students are encouraged to be authentic, disciplined and most important to have fun. I love her teaching style! Thank you so much Harrie!

I would highly recommend Harrie Mule's workshops to anyone with an interest in drama or literature. Harrie took me out of my writing comfort zone. I’ve never written a character after someone I know that exists and I'm so excited I took that on. I am very happy I took the class and am looking forward to finishing my story!

In my career as an educator, I have taught and participated in many classes. Recently, I attended a class entitled 'Legacy Writing Workshop'. The instructor and facilitator, Harrie Mulé, was exceptional. She brought her experience as an actor, her coaching skills, her empathy and her knowledge to the class. Harrie created a learning and sharing atmosphere that allowed the class to develop skills and share them with their classmates. Harrie is articulate. She has extensive knowledge and is an excellent instructor. I would not hesitate to recommend her for a position as a teacher or as a facilitator.

Harrie Mulé makes a workshop fun, easy, and welcoming. I felt accepted as I read a very personal story and received feedback from my new "friends." Before this workshop, I only wrote for myself. Now I see that others might enjoy reading my story. Thank you, Harrie!!

The class on 'Acting for the Non-Actor' was informative and fun. Harrie Mulé was very clear in her instructions as she led us through a variety of activities basic to Acting. As Harrie pointed out to all of us, the Acting skills are relatable to all life situations and how actions can speak louder than words. Harrie also has great stories of theatre and kept the class engaged and wishing for more. Being a senior, I enjoyed the opportunity offered by this class not only to learn but also to participate in actual Acting techniques.

The ‘Acting for Non-Actor’ class was a great introduction to acting for someone who knew nothing about the art of acting beforehand. Harrie’s instructions were clear and organized. Harrie taught us some improvisation exercises to experience the acting process, and I learned how to get out of my head and respond to the moment. I would take her class again because I learned some useful tools to improve my acting and felt safe to express myself in the welcoming environment Harrie created. It was fun and informative!

Despite having taken two writing workshops in the past, I really hadn't learned anything new. No tips, techniques, or ideas. Harrie Mulé changed that. She provided helpful suggestions from day one. You won't regret taking the class.

Harrie Mulé's monologue workshop is a must attend for those wanting to polish their writing and performing skills or who are starting out in the field. Participants feel Harrie’s support by her encouraging words to expand on their topics in the written word. Her professional acting and coaching skills shine through as she listens attentively to participants stories and encourages them to dig deeper of their motives for choosing such stories. The process makes them give serious thought to why they chose a certain topic. Harrie’s commitment to providing a review of each session and positive feedback strengthens her lessons. Her knowledge of the monologue writing and performing process teaches the attendees how to write better scenes and to overcome the fear of performing in a safe environment. She teaches attendees to observe their surroundings, “what do you remember about the place”, “how did it make you feel”, to improve their writing and acting skills. I would encourage anyone who is considering acting or writing to attend this workshop. It is a jewel of a workshop that the library offers.

"I attended the workshop on ‘How to Create a Character Monologue and Perform It!’ at the Poughkeepsie Public Library. The workshop was facilitated by Harrie Mulé. Ms. Mulé is a seasoned performer, director, and producer. The experience was inspiring. The facilitator created a supportive space where participants felt encouraged to express personal stories with honesty and vulnerability. Ms. Mulé discussed the structure of a monologue, ran writing exercises and provided tips on how to perform the monologue. This workshop reminded me that everyone has a story to tell. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone interested in storytelling."

"Harrie Mulé is a dynamic, motivated teacher who focuses on her student's strengths and gives the most loving constructive feedback on how to improve his/her weaknesses. She creates a very safe and welcoming space to write and share personal life stories. She guides participants through the writing process to making the written word come off the page to alive on stage. Harrie and her exceptional talent are jewels of the Hudson Valley and would recommend any of her creative art workshops for your organization. Working with her was pure joy infused with enlightenment, fun, and creative energy! Thank you, Harrie!"

Thank you for your amazing instruction and direction in the workshop "How to Create a Character Monologue and Perform It!". I look forward to attending future workshops and performances with your theatre company/organization! As a social introvert, as I like to call myself, it's always a little awkward for me to meet new people; yet, Harrie offered a warm welcome, and exuded energy and excitement to our group. Through her words and body language, she expressed kindness and gratitude to and for all of us being there. Soon enough I felt at ease with her and with my budding writers. Harrie gave each class participant advice and encouragement. Her expertise! She knows what she's doing, and I feel fortunate to have access to her knowledge and skills.
