Acting for the Non-Actor – An approachable acting workshop for beginners

October 22 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Free

Curious about acting, but not sure you belong? This workshop is designed for people who want to try without performance expectations.

A low-pressure way to try acting — even if you’ve never done it before.

This workshop is for people who want to try something new in a welcoming space. We’ll work with simple acting exercises, imagination, voice, and presence — no memorizing, no performing for perfection, and no experience required.

You’ll explore what it feels like to step into a moment, a character, or a story, while building confidence and getting out of your head. Some people come to loosen up, some to challenge themselves, and some just to see what happens.

Along the way, you’ll be introduced to basic acting tools used by performers to connect more honestly to text, emotion, and presence.

You don’t have to “perform.”

Just come as you are, try a few things, and see what surprises you!

Registration begins in SEPTEMBER 2026, then go to link below for the workshop registration form.
