A peek at some finished pieces, works in progress, and whatever else has found its way out of my head and onto the page.
I see life through a creative lens, so I never really know who’s going to walk onto the blank page. People from different cultures, generations, neighborhoods, and all walks of life show up. Some come from worlds I know firsthand. Others make faces at me from places I know very little about and tempt me to go deeper. That’s part of the fun for me. I’m interested in everyday folks wanting a little love, a little money, a little dignity—and the trouble they get themselves into trying to get it. I’m drawn to unlikely relationships, cultures and generations colliding, and characters who take me somewhere I didn’t expect to go.
The past interests me too much.

From My Head to the Page
Sometimes what’s in my head isn’t a play, a monologue, or a short story. It’s a memory, an observation, something about creativity, or something I just can’t stop thinking about.
That stuff ends up here.
