Newburgh Writers’ Hub

You don’t have to be a writer.
You don’t have to share your work.
You don’t have to know what you’re doing.

The Writers Hub is a monthly, in-person gathering for people who like to write — no experience required.  You don’t have to share, be “good,” or know what you’re doing. You just have to show up.  Most people walk in a little unsure and leave feeling relieved, lighter, and glad they came.

We gather to put words on the page together. Sometimes we write quietly. Sometimes we talk a bit. Sharing is always optional. There’s no pressure to be “good” or polished — the goal is simply to write and see what happens.

Along the way, you’ll explore prompts, memory, observation, and imagination. You’ll begin to notice your own voice, get unstuck, and build confidence just by showing up and writing regularly.

The Writers Hub is about momentum, curiosity, and community — not perfection.
