Acting for the Non-Actor

If you’ve ever wanted to try acting, this class is for you! This course is designed to introduce the non-actor to the foundation for the craft of acting. The instructor will assign students partnerships in order to explore scenes. The scene-work will focus on relationships, and the beginnings of character work. Supportive feedback is given about each individual’s work to enhance their understanding of the application of acting techniques. At the end of this class students should have a well-rounded skill set for aspiring actors.
Get in touch with your creativity, gain confidence and who knows, community theater might be in the stars for you! The last class culminates in a presentation of scenes and monologues for those who would like to participate, and students can invite guests. No experience necessary. Adult class.
