Holiday Story Hour OPEN CALL for Talent

Make a Scene Productions presents Holiday Story Hour at the Newburgh Free Library!  Come join the holiday fun!

Got a TALENT you want to share; song, poem, instrumental music, monologue, acting scenes, comedy acts, ventriloquist, an excerpt from your soon to be published novel? ALL ACTS ARE WELCOMED!

INSTRUCTIONS TO PARTICIPATE AS TALENT:
Register with the Library to be part of the showcase of talent by using this Newburgh Library Event link to register: Holiday Story Hour Newburgh Library Talent Registration Form

Fill out the form completely with your name, email, details of your act and a selfie or headshot to be used in marketing the event.

Thereafter additional details for a one-day meet and greet and rehearsal will be sent to talent by Harrie Mulé. This is a non-paying, non-union showcase.

Open call will close when 12 talent registrations are received. Each act will have a maximum of 10 minutes to showcase their talent.

The Holiday Story Hour Event is scheduled for December 13, 2025, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, at the Newburgh Library Main Branch, in the beautiful Riverview Performance Space.  Come mingle and enjoy the provided holiday treats!
